Another part of the visual update to the Office brand icons was to create an equally refreshed set of file type icons to accompany them. The biggest task was to bring cohesion with the other icon libraries at Microsoft and create something that could live in harmony in those locations.
I collaborated with a few different teams and designers to try to develop something that resembled the new brand icons but could still be used in a utility setup.
